The fitness world is where my heart is

I’m all about results with BALANCE. I’m a strong believer in creating a healthy balanced lifestyle. I am happy knowing that my clients look forward to their training, which makes them train hard, which leads them to stay consistent and as a results gets them to achieve their goals. Positive mind + easy to follow programme = AMAZING results! 

MY STORY

On your marks, get set...GO! 

I distinctly remember hearing my brother shout these words at me, my sisters and pretty much the whole neighbourhood. He was the main culprit to come up with some sort of activity that would involve everyone. Whether that be a scooter race or dizzy dinosaurs which may I add has left me with a scar on my forehead... cheers for that bro! After all the grazes, tears, laughter and scars from his ‘sporting activities’ the most important thing he gave me was a love for being active which is where it all began.

Before I bore you with all the details I just wanted to touch base with this subject as it was a massive part of my life and why I pursued my goals. I was bullied quite a lot at school, I know we all get the odd dig here and there but mine was quite extreme. I didn’t want to go to school, the anxiety and fear that ran through my body each and every day was too much until I got into my P.E kit. My anxiety, self worth and imperfections seemed to fade when I was out in the fresh air sprinting down the track or kicking a football across the pitch. You name it I was in it. The more I kept active the more it helped with my mental health and overcoming those fears. It really saved me.

My personal goal is to impact and change as many lives around the world as possible through my love and passion for health and fitness.

In my early years of college I’d put my hands up and admit that the odd drink and pizza may've snuck into my mouth... let’s just say, I put on a bit of ‘unsuspected’ weight. I heard this quote and it made me re evaluate a few things.

Maybe the journey wasn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it was about unbecoming everything that wasn’t me so I can be who I was meant to be in the first place. 

This gave me a massive kick up the a** and I managed to lose that extra ‘unsuspected weight’ which I hope would help inspire others and so after the weight loss I wanted another kick and decided to give myself the biggest challenge. A fitness competition! It was one of the hardest, most nerve wrecking experiences of my love but I wouldn’t change a thing about it.

After my school years I realised how much I loved sport for the physical aspects and most importantly like I said above, the mental benefits. I wanted to continue to spread my love and passion for health and fitness and to show others how it would change their lives for the better too.

After college I became a fitness instructor for 5 years. I used this time to learn as much as I could about the health & fitness world. I took part in all types of classes (Spinning is my favourite which I still teach to this day). I got myself onto as many courses as I possibly could which in tern helped broaden my knowledge which taught me how to create personalised plans specific to each individuals wants and need.

Before I knew it I had built up an amazing client base to become a qualified Personal Trainer. I have never looked back and am astonished at how many lives I have changed so far, it truly touches my heart and I can’t wait to change more!

I have now got to a point where I have reached capacity and am having to turn people away, which is the last thing I wanted to do. So after building my Instagram, I have been thinking of a way to impact more lives and say YES to everyone... that’s when I knew it was time to take the next step of my career and offer a service as an online Coach.

I actually have 2 other passions in life: Art and animals. I took a year out of fitness instructing to become a dog trainer. I completed my qualification and loved every second BUT I just knew the fitness world was where my heart was.
